Adam Lori

Composer | London | Phase 1

Adam Lori (AKA F-l-u-x) has written music commissioned by the BBC, Channel 4, Richard Branson, ABC, NBC and Virgin, to name but a few. He is also a founding member of Spoke Music, a London-based collective of composers and sound engineers. Adam’s technologically driven, studio-based practice, his extensive work with commissions for film, television and theatre, and his classical training at the Royal College of music have led him to seek out new forms of composition which aim to re-appropriate genre-specific techniques and languages and to use them outside of their usual context. Adam is currently working on a new musical language called “interruptions” which he is hoping to explore further during the residency.
