Aklima Uddin

Trained in Classical Indian dance, Musical Theatre and Commercial before developing an interest in Contemporary. Graduated from University of Chichester, now currently working as a freelance dancer. Throughout her studies and years of training, Aklima has had the opportunity to work with numerous contemporary artists, and performed on various platforms.To build on her portfolio she has participated in competitions such as Rock Challenge, completed the Trinity Laban Young Dance Ambassador 2012 programme, and trained as a Lighting Technician for UoC (University of Chichester) touring company 3Fall. Since graduating, Aklima has been keeping up with her technique training, and has been working on various dance projects. Aklima is now fur ther pursuing her career as a dance performer by aiming to work on international platforms, especially the Indian film industry.
