Andy Kyte

Composer | London | Pilot

Born in South London, Andy grew up as a guitar player writing songs and performing from an early age. At 18, he moved to Camden, North London and spent a year gigging acoustically, climaxing in a Channel 4 performance on Orange Unsigned Act. For the next five year he led Urban/Indie Rock band, California Gypsies, developing his song writing. A love for music theory and a passion to learn more about other styles of music led Andy to take a degree in Classical Music at Middlesex University. Alongside this degree, Andy was able to take modules in Jazz theory and harmony, broadening his skills further. Since graduating with first class honours, Andy is having his classical pieces performed increasingly around London, has developed a music theory book for song writers and is composing music for documentaries, animations and video games.
